Kenneth Branagh
performs in Tom Stoppard's re-mastered Anton Chekhov play directed
by Michael Grandage.
Branagh will play the title role of Ivanov - a man plagued with
self-doubt and despair- plunged into debt with a marriage in
crisis, while fighting to resist the small town jealousies and
intrigues which threaten to engulf his life. The play vividly
captures the electrifying atmosphere of Russia on the brink of
change.
